But at the same time, you don’t even think about the accident. Everything happens due to the fact that we are too suggestible for negativity, so after reading the next headline of the media, we are immediately scared.

 

Panic in an emergency is the last thing that can help you. Instead, take the time to solve the problem itself. If the problem is not up to you, like the COVID-19 pandemic, but can affect, then get ready. 

 

  1. Prepare for the bad days in advance

When everything goes well, it seems that it will always be so, but it is not. The day will come when everything collapses and goes wrong. And it was the coronavirus that turned out to be such a trigger. Yes, it will pass, but then another virus or other catastrophe will come that can destroy the already precarious world economy. 

 

Now a large number of people who have been quarantined and cannot work, and some of them do not have money for the most necessary. What can such a situation teach? There is no guarantee that one should always be prepared for an unexpected blow of fate. 

 

What to do? Always carry an airbag. At least for 2-3 months. This will help to avoid a similar situation in the future.

Our world is more and more preparing to abandon office work in favor of the remote. It is such serious situations as with coronavirus that push even more. Most large countries migrate their employees to work remotely to avoid distribution. If you do not develop your skills, then at one point you can be left with nothing. Thanks to such additional skills, you can go on a freelance or passive earnings.

 

  1. Develop financially

Since mid-2019, they have been talking about the crisis at every step, but there are still a lot of people who say: “Once again, ordinary people were robbed!”. But if you spend your 30 minutes not on complaints, but on training and try, at least in a simplified form, to study the economy and understand why this happens, then everything will immediately fall into place.

Often you can hear phrases like: “Why are these masks and quarantines?” etc. This is a manifestation of pure selfishness. If you are not sick, this does not mean that you are not a carrier and do not infect the grandfather sitting next to you, who can easily die from this.

Coronavirus showed that you can also study without leaving your home. If earlier distance education was considered as a curiosity and several universities provided it, now even technical schools and schools have switched to distance learning.

 

Indeed, why sit out at your desks or in classrooms, if you can study anywhere, anytime? Not even a week has passed since the widespread introduction of distance education, as teachers and students noted the convenience of the new system. Today, even state examinations at universities are already quite successfully taken remotely.

Oddly enough, but many people did not wash their hands before returning home from the street. As well as they did not use disposable masks during flu outbreaks, they did not use hand sanitizers and sneezes without covering their mouths.

 

Now all of the above is part of the norm. Monitoring hygiene becomes normal, which in the future will lead to a decrease in the seasonal incidence of influenza and SARS.

It is especially nice to see how humanity rallies in the face of a threat. World museums open online exhibits, online cinemas, and lectures open up free access to their collections, and even porn sites temporarily become free.

 

People who are separated physically, get closer spiritually. It’s enough to recall video clips from Spain and Italy, where people in quarantine go to balconies and play each other musical instruments, sing in a choir, arrange discos and even do fitness.



The pandemic has taught us that we need to take care of ourselves, of course. But also that it is important to think of others. Staying at home, in isolation, means protecting our family, the neighbors, the elderly, who are the most vulnerable. It is an attitude to prevent the spread of the disease.

 

Then, faced with the difficulty, we learn to be more sympathetic and kind, to offer help with the week's shopping for our parents, for friends. If we can sing, we sing to cheer others. Each one gives a little of himself, even from a distance, even virtually. Creativity excels in those hours. If you can afford it, you pay for the cleaning lady's daily rate, who has been excused for security reasons.

 

We also find that we can take care of each other by simply covering our mouths when we sneeze or cough because in this way we avoid transmitting possible diseases to the people around us.

 

It's worth thinking about the next one when you go to the pharmacy and the supermarket. Nobody needs to stock food and alcohol. Buy enough for yourself and your family, because the virus affects everyone.

Forced isolation may seem just bad (it's a little bit true), but it brings good things. In the rush of everyday life, many people have left valuable moments aside, like being at the side of the family, for nothing.

 

Playing with children without a hurry, dancing with them, cooking a healthy meal listening to music, tidying up forgotten corners of the house, reviewing old photos?

 

And when all these passes (because it will pass!), to relive what is really pleasant, like going to the cafeteria with friends, chatting with the crowd on the beach, enjoying a football match at the stadium, catching a little cinema on Sunday afternoon.

 

  1. we must take care of our health (physical and mental) all year

Now the attention to health is heightened. There are people reinforcing their diet, drinking more water, and asking themselves why they didn't go to the doctor before to take care of that annoying little problem in their spine or why they didn't go to the gym.

 

There is no point in thinking about gaining immunity like that, in a snap. Health is something that is achieved over time, based on a set of good habits, which include regular sleep, physical activity, and a balanced diet.

 

Oh, and we’ve already learned that it’s not for any symptoms that you’re looking for a doctor.

 

Confinement has made many people find themselves anxious, depressed. All the more reason to catch up on mental health. And for good. Do not wait for another crisis like this to deal with something so serious.

There are people now washing their hands every 20 minutes and walking around with alcohol gel. Another important lesson learned from the coronavirus: simple hygiene measures can save your life and prevent others around you from getting sick by the table.
